Get to know Fuzzy Foundation
It all started with one woman and a dream. With determination brought to life her visions. At the young age of 10, she learned from her grandmother how to crochet. It was difficult in the beginning to learn all the techniques and styles of crochet. Thought she pushed through and kept trying. Eventually she met a man who would give her the courage to sell her creations. It was slow at first. She gave up and went on to become a mother to a beautiful little girl. But something was missing, her art. Crochet slowly became everything once more. She would create beautiful amigurumi plushies for her daughter to snuggle with. Creating little projects here and there. Her husband then again suggested selling some. Sharing her gift with the world. Hesitant, she got the nerve to publish and Etsy listing. It was slow at first but became much more than the plush stuffed animals she was making. Customers wanted to have unique and personal item just for their loved ones.
A few years later she had another child, a boy. Not knowing what to do she took a break once again. After a few months her crochet creations were getting more in demand. Having no choice but to smile and make more. Her heart was full. An amazing and supportive husband, wonderful and happy children, what more could she ever need? A website! Then became what you know now as Fuzzy Foundation.
It took many trials and errors for this young woman, but she would not have it any other way. Learning new skills and techniques to get where she is now. An if you are an aspiring young crochet artist you can too! Never give up on your dreams, one day if you keep going will be surprised at the outcome.
Our mission
We're on a mission to change the way crochet creations are seen. Rather than offering one service or another, we want to combine as many and make our clients' lives easy and carefree. Our goal is to match our clients with the perfect items that fit their tastes, needs, and budgets.
Our vision
We want to live in a world where people can buy crochet items that match their needs rather than having to find a compromise and settle on the second-best option. That's why we take a lot of time and care in getting to know our clients from the moment they reach out to us and ask for our help.
The Team
Our strength lies in our individuality. Alexis is the face behind Fuzzy Foundation and the crochet artist. Her vision has brought smiles to many faces, and hopefully yours too.
